Its Time !!
Its time! The general elections have begun and for the first time in over two decades the odds are stacked heavily in favour of one party....or rather one man. India is at its finest on its election day because this day the common man has the real power, in its truest sense of power. It is the day we have the power to shape our country’s future, the day we choose a leader, for better or worse, but still WE choose. The build-up to this time’s elections have been pretty exciting, with a common-man (literally) becoming a house-hold name, the poster boy for the country’s oldest political party becoming a laughing stock and a man not even in contention for PM’s position last time, already being heralded as the new Head of government. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the UPA government, as they say, ‘made their own bed’ and now they’re going to sleep on it. I don’t want to take NDA’s credits away but to say that they, if they do, are going to win is solely because of their agenda a...
